Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions, Answered
If you’ve never visited a professional Holistic Wellness Professional before, you’re bound to have lots of questions or concerns. Below, you’ll find a list of several frequently asked questions from my clients. Connect with me if you have any other questions.

Who are your clients? Can I make an appointment with you?
My (w)holistic practice sees clients through all stages of life. Through the Wise Woman Wellness platform, I engage with women from the onset of menstruation, to your first or fifth baby, through the changes of life. (W)Holistic Health brings attention to various MIND-BODY applications and is often used in accompaniment to 'western allopathic healthcare'. Many clients reach out to me in a time of stress, need, or illness. We will work together to achieve your personal wellness goals.

My practice supports gender-affirming care and is lgbtqia2s+ friendly. :) If this is you, let's meet!
How should I prepare for my first appointment?
Call, text or email and we can talk about whatever it is that brought you to me. We can talk for a bit, make sure we are a good fit for each other and then I can send you over some "paperwork". I abide by strict privacy practices and require all my clients to fill out a confidentiality agreement. Additionally, I will ask for some background information to base our first appointment on.
Do you accept insurance?
In short, no. I am an independent wellness professional and I choose to adhere to a standard outside the insurance practicum. I have found that many clients are more open and honest with me about their lifestyle, medical history, symptoms, and concerns when they know and understand I am not required to forward information to another party. EVERYTHING we discuss stays within my practice.
If you were hoping to work with me, but feel overwhelmed by the idea of paying out of pocket, let's talk.
There is always a way to work things out.
What should I expect from my first appointment?
Well, that depends. Some options require us to meet only once (such as belly binding, placenta encapsulation, or illness support), however, other wellness options are ongoing and (together) we can decide how to often we meet. During your first appointment, we will discuss if additional sessions or appointments are necessary to bring you into wellness. Many first sessions average over an hour. We discuss what brought you to me, how your past plays a role, and how we can work together to achieve your goals.
